For the period reported in its current prospectus, during which net operating expenses were capped by the Fund’s Manager, the Fund’s gross annual operating expenses totaled 1.79% of net assets. Until November 30, 2008, the Fund’s Manager has contractually agreed to waive certain fees and/or reimburse certain expenses, including management fees, so that expenses paid by the Fund will not exceed, on a per annum basis, 1.60% of its average daily net assets. See the Fund’s current prospectus for further information.
The table above does not reflect the deduction of taxes that a shareholder would pay on Fund distributions or the redemption of Fund shares. Total return is based on the Fund’s net asset values and assumes all dividends and capital gains were reinvested. An investment in the Fund is not a bank deposit and is not insured. You may lose money. Certain fees payable by the Fund were waived during the period, and the Fund’s average annual total returns would have been lower had these not been waived. The Morgan Stanley Capital International Europe (MSCI Europe) is an unmanaged index of common stocks. Investors cannot invest directly in the MSCI Europe.
Investing internationally involves special risks, such as currency fluctuations, social and economic instability, differing securities regulations and accounting standards, limited public information, possible changes in taxation, and periods of illiquidity.
