Domini Wins Thought Leadership Award at 2026 Asset Management STAR Awards

Domini Impact Investments is honored to share that we have been named the winner of Thought Leadership: ESG / Sustainable Investing in the Asset Management Overall category at the 2026 Asset Management STAR Awards North America. Winners were announced on October 19, 2026, at the awards ceremony in Boston.

Developed by FT Live, Ignites, and FundFire in partnership with the Investment Management Education Alliance (IMEA), the Asset Management STAR Awards build on nearly 30 years of IMEA’s STAR Awards legacy, recognizing excellence in investment management communications, education, and engagement. According to FT Live, the Thought Leadership: ESG / Sustainable Investing award recognizes credible and impactful ESG and sustainable investing thought leadership, judged on transparency and data integrity, substance over marketing claims, and relevance to investment outcomes and the intended audience.

Since the beginning, Domini has been guided by a simple idea: that the way we invest shapes the world we live in. Our thought leadership is grounded in the belief that informed investors are empowered investors. Our winning entry featured the Domini 2025 Impact Report, which details how our impact investment standards, proprietary research, and active ownership seek to put investors’ dollars to work on issues ranging from climate action and biodiversity to workers’ rights and broader access to economic opportunity. The report documents more than 200 company and public policy engagements in 2025 and votes on over 7,000 proposals at nearly 500 shareholder meetings. Through this work, we aim to give advisors and investors clear, rigorous, and honest information about how their capital is at work in the world.

“We’re deeply honored to receive this recognition. For more than three decades, we’ve worked to show that sustainable investing is a discipline that deserves the same rigor, transparency, and accountability as any other. At a time when the conversation around ESG has grown louder and more polarized, we believe investors deserve substance — clear thinking grounded in evidence about how their investments affect people and the planet.”

— Carole Laible, CEO of Domini Impact Investments

Congratulations to our fellow honorees, and thank you to FT Live, Ignites, FundFire, IMEA, and the judging panel for continuing to spotlight the work that moves our industry forward

Methodology, as published by FT Live. The awards were open to asset managers and service providers operating in or serving clients in North America with at least three years of operating in the region, and entries were required to reflect activity during the period of March 2025 – March 2026. Each submission included an entry statement and goals and an outcome and results statement of no more than 350 words each, along with up to three supporting assets and evidence such as performance metrics, innovation details, client outcomes, or relevant KPIs. Entries were evaluated within relevant peer groupings, which may include segmentation by asset class, investment strategy, and/or firm size. Entries were judged by a panel of investment management leaders and other industry experts on performance and results, innovation and creativity, strategy and execution, and engagement and impact. The Thought Leadership: ESG / Sustainable Investing category was judged on transparency and data integrity, substance over marketing claims, and relevance to investment outcomes and target buyer (retail investor versus institutional).
