2022 IMPACT REPORT

Strength in Numbers

Working Towards a More Sustainable Future

Investing with purpose.
And without compromise.

At Domini, we strive to create a greater, greener world. This mission adds a layer to our work—and, naturally, it gives us more to reflect on. When we look back on the past year, we see beyond markets and returns. We also focus on the issues we care about, across human dignity, race and gender, climate change, labor, and more.

In 2022, Domini helped to advance climate and racial justice, work collaboratively towards the low-carbon transition, and enhance care for human rights in conflict-affected areas, among other initiatives. Putting principles into action

Our Impact Investment Standards are the cornerstone of our research and investments. In 2022, we enhanced our standards to help us identify companies that are making diligent, equitable climate transitions centered around their workers and communities.

Bond investing and community impact

Our muni and green bond investments aimed to support communities, particularly those that are historically underserved, and helped build a more sustainable and equitable society. We invest directly in communities across the U.S. through our Bond Fund.

Using our voice

Encouraging companies to deepen their sustainability efforts was a focus of our work in 2022. Whether on establishing climate targets, disclosing outcomes, centering equity, or meeting with workers and stakeholders to forge meaningful solutions, our engagements are helping guide progress.

Collaborating with leaders

We understand finance’s role in creating change, and we were proactive about communicating that to decision makers around the world. We took part in key conversations at the United Nations’ COP15 conference on biodiversity and Climate Week NYC 2022, helping guide leaders towards a new international biodiversity framework.
